Part of the Librarium collection, in which we decided to indulge our love of the State Library of Victoria and its Pictures collection. We delved through the archives and selected images to collage, mix up, squish, colourise and generally mess with to create our prints.
The Flowers print was created from a lot of hand drawn illustrations of local flora by Caroline Peebles, done between 1870-1910.
Please note, each skirt is different in terms of print placement.
Fabric: digitally printed cotton voile. Gathered elastic waist, pockets in side seams. Below knee length.
Printed and sewn in Australia. Sizes 8-16.
Care: cold hand wash inside out. Do not soak or rub. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Drip dry in shade. Take care when wearing that bags or other garments do not rub or scratch at the fabric. Iron on reverse.
Measurements are in cm and are taken across the front of the flat garment. See further sizing info here
